3D Modelling

Dell Augmented Reality App

At Dell, technicians face the challenge of servicing a myriad of equipment models in the field. To streamline their efforts, we conceptualized and developed an innovative AR app compatible with tablets and smartphones. Technicians can easily download this app, creating a seamless and accessible solution for their daily tasks.

This dynamic app serves as an interactive guide, leveraging Augmented Reality to superimpose graphics, 3D models, and technical information onto real-world equipment captured by the device's camera. My role in this project involved crafting 3D models and animating them for integration into the Unity platform. Notably, I focused on creating representations of key components like the assistant A'Dell (inspired by Clippy), motherboard, and hard drive, showcased through an immersive 'X-ray' mode that unveils hidden elements beneath the equipment's exterior.

Dell Virtual Command Centre

At Dell, there are multiple Command Centres located around the world. Historically, showcasing these centers to visitors required physically directing them to one of our locations. To overcome this logistical hurdle and offer a more efficient and immersive experience, we envisioned a VR app. The goal is to virtually present Dell's Command Centre to clients, eliminating the need for them to travel to a specific location.

In my role for this project, I was entrusted with the creation of low-poly 3D environment assets tailored for integration into the virtual world. Collaborating with another skilled 3D artist, we utilized Unity Collaborate to seamlessly upload and position assets within the virtual Command Centre, ensuring a visually captivating and authentic representation.

3D Hotel Room Render

Presented below are a collection of renders showcasing a 3D hotel room, a project undertaken as part of my 3D design and animation assignment at Brunel University. My goal was to create a truly photo-realistic image, although in hindsight, I recognize the potential for enhancement by infusing personal touches or creating a more 'lived-in' atmosphere. Drawing inspiration from the layout of Ibis hotels, the design aims to capture their distinctive ambiance.
